Post wise qualification includes 12th for Jail Warden, 10th/12th/Diploma for Tailor, GNM/Diploma for Nurse, 10th/12th for Dresser, Diploma for Pharmacist, Degree for Forester Grade-I, 12th for Forest Guard and as per norms for some posts. |

| As per notification, minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 40 years for most posts. For some posts age limits vary, such as 21-40 years for Nurse and Craft Instructor, 18-25 years for AFPF Constable, Fireman and Boatman, and 20-24 years for Sub-Officer. |

| Age relaxation is applicable as per State Level Police Recruitment Board Assam rules: 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 years for SC, ST (P) and ST (H) candidates. |
| Salary |
| Pay scale ranges from Rs. 4,400/- to Rs. 70,000/- per month depending on the post. For example, Jail Warden gets Rs. 14,000 – 70,000/-, Tailor Rs. 5,000/-, Nurse Rs. 6,800/-, Pharmacist Rs. 7,400/-, Forester Grade-I Rs. 6,400/-, Forest Guard and Constable (UB/Grade-III) Rs. 5,600/-, Bugler Rs. 4,400/- and Boatman Rs. 4,200/- per month. |
